A beautiful, youthful face nested beneath the lau kalo. This concept was loosely inspired by the idea of Haloa. Wakea and Ho'ohokukalani gave birth to a still-born Haloa. Ho'ohokukalani buried her child in the earth, from which, the first kalo plant was born.
